I loved this interview with Amy Flores-Young where we got to discuss hosting and planning retreats, live intensives, and events in our current times.
For years I hosted four and sometimes five events a year and that didn't include all the Private VIP Retreats as well.
One of the things I found challenging when I chose to work with more people and host larger mastermind retreats and live events was all the details that went into the planning.
What I love about this interview is how Amy doesn't only look at making sure all the details are considered, she factors in business strategy too.

Goals. We all sit down at the beginning of January every year and come up with new goals.
Sometimes they're all new. Sometimes they're carried over from the year before. Sometimes our list is long and daunting. Other times it's short and sweet.
I take a very different approach to goal setting in my business. While this is something I do in my business every year, my goals are carried over month after month.
Years ago I learned a strategy to setting goals that now help me reach them easier and faster. And with my focus on teaching other coaches and service providers how to streamline and scale their business to work less, serve many and make more - I've added a whole new twist to my goal-setting strategy.
There's a strategy to goal setting - especially if you want to create more balance in your business so you can enjoy your life too.

It's hard to believe this year is coming to a close.
As a business owner at midlife, I've found that this year has been one of my best yet both personally and professionally.
In today's episode, I will share where I started this year, where I'm ending and some of the key lessons I've learned throughout the year.
At the start of 2021, I had just begun a health journey which was coupled with wanting to redesign my business to serve more people.
But with a busy personal life, I knew that rushing my business goals and plans were only going to put me back to where I've been before when my health and business were out of sync.
I'm pleased to share that I have achieved so much this year. Including a complete business redesign, a leveraged way of serving 100's of clients and so much more than I could have ever imagined personally.
