I'm joined today by Lynne Twist and Sara Vetter of The Soul of Money Institute.
For more than 40 years, Lynne Twist has been a recognized global visionary committed to alleviating poverty, ending world hunger, and supporting social justice and environmental sustainability. From working with Mother Teresa in Calcutta to the refugee camps in Ethiopia and the threatened rainforests of the Amazon, as well as guiding the philanthropy of some of the world’s wealthiest families, Lynne’s on-the-ground work has brought her a deep understanding of people’s relationship with money.
Sara Vetter is the Business Development Director of the Soul of Money Institute and is a coach, consultant, workshop leader, keynote speaker, and strategist. She is also the Major Gift Fundraiser for the Pachamama Alliance.
At the start of the pandemic, they recognized a need to help their audience find calm in the chaos of the times. In doing so, they created a series of masterclasses that reached individuals across the globe.
What came next was a deep dive into developing programs, new content, and a complete business redesign.
For the past year, I've been working with them to help them bring their work to more people while also helping them redesign their business online.
Inspired by them, their mission, boundless energy and work they do in the world; I wanted to bring them on the show to talk about their work, the pivot they made, the role of women and why it's important to overcome your scarcity thinking in order to make a bigger difference in the world.
In this very special interview you'll discover:
The process they use to work through issues, develop ideas and content for their trainings and programs.
Why the time is now for women (and what our role is).
What they've learned about running a business during this time.
Why what we believe to be true about money and success isn't really the truth at all.
The secret to sufficiency and radical contentment.
How to step into making the difference you want to make in the world.
And so much more.

Becoming a podcast guest is a great way to get known and found by potential clients. Being a guest is one of the ways I’ve become known, built my list, and grown all of my coaching communities.
While it’s easy to think that being a guest is all about the opportunity it presents for you and your business, reframing this to think about adding value as a guest goes a long way for the host and for future speaking opportunities.
As someone who’s been a guest speaker on podcasts and live stages for over 10 years, I’ve learned a few things about how to become a great guest speaker.
Now that I have my own podcast, I also know what makes some of my guest episodes get more downloads, likes, comments, and shares.
Here’s a little of what I’ve learned and what I think is important for you to know as you get more guest speaking spots. You'll discover:
Some of the common mistakes podcast guests make (and what to do instead).
How to make your episode one of your hosts' most listened to and downloaded episodes.
The #1 thing you don't want to forget to give listeners.
And much more.
Listen in and start becoming a better podcast guest.

Like most business owners I know, growing a business sometimes takes a toll on other areas of your life.
I found that to be true the more my business grew and discovered it harder to manage my weight, time and energy.
Every year that passed, I gained more and more weight. The funny thing was that I kept reaching new wonderful business milestones along the way.
Hosting annual events allowed me to keep my weight in check, but every year the scale kept tracking higher numbers.
Was it my stage of life? My stage of business? The stress of running a business? All of it?
I finally got to the point shortly before the end of 2020 to jump in and make the changes I knew I needed to make.
What I discovered was:
What was leading to my weight gain and energy loss
How business success was part of the problem
What to do to release the weight, gain the energy and design my business in a way that serves me and my life best
This episode breaks it all down.
If you're finding yourself in midlife, running a business, and not feeling your absolute best - I hope you'll listen in.
